Cytomegalovirus (CMV) DNA Test Approved by FDA Now Available in U.S. Market
There is a new Cytomegalovirus (CMV) DNA test produced by Roche Pharmaceuticals that has just been approved by the FDA.
The Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) has learned that there is a new Cytomegalovirus (CMV) DNA test produced by Roche Pharmaceuticals that has just been approved by the FDA. This is important since, up until now there were no reliable blood tests that could accurately determine the levels of Cytomegalovirus in the system.
The new test assesses a patient’s viral load of cytomegalovirus. Doctors will use information from the test to help them deal with patients who have been diagnosed with CMV disease. Specifically, these are patients with an immune system that has been suppressed for solid organ transplantation.
The test received premarket approval (PMA) from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in July 2012.
The CBCD believes this new test is important for a few other reasons as well. For instance, the Cytomegalovirus is a virus that can establish a latent infection in one of the body’s organs or tissues. When it comes to latent viruses, it’s all about numbers. This test is significant since it will help doctors determine exactly what levels of Cytomegalovirus are floating around inside of you.
When your immune system is strong, the number of latent viruses in your body is low, and your risk is low. When your immune system is weak, the number of latent viruses in your body is high, and your risk is high.
In fact, high levels of Cytomegalovirus may be responsible for increasing risk of developing a number of diseases … including type 2 diabetes. A Dutch study, carried out by Leiden University and the University of Tubingen, involved nearly 549 elderly adults over 85 years of age. It found that the percentage that had type 2 diabetes was twice as high in those that carried the virus than those that did not.
The public should remember that to date, there is no vaccine against a Cytomegalovirus infection.
Up until today, prevention of a Cytomegalovirus infection has focused on avoiding exposure to saliva and urine. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommends washing hands often with soap and water for 15-20 seconds, especially after changing diapers, feeding a young child, wiping a young child’s nose or drool, or handling children’s toys.
People also should not share food, drinks, or eating utensils used by young children. They should not put a child’s pacifier in the mouth, share a toothbrush with a young child, and they should avoid contact with saliva when kissing a child. They should also clean toys, countertops, and other surfaces that are exposed to children’s urine or saliva.
At present, the CBCD believes a Cytomegalovirus infection may be improved and symptoms lessened by boosting the immune system with a CMV remedy that works against the latent (sleeping) Cytomegalovirus.
One CMV remedy that was scientifically developed to boost the immune system against the latent Cytomegalovirus is Gene-Eden-VIR. The CBCD suggests trying this all-natural, broad-spectrum, antiviral remedy.
The CBCD believes taking Gene-Eden-VIR makes sense. It can help lower the concentration of the latent CMV within the body by boosting the natural immune system.
“The key to your health is to reduce the level of the chronic viruses in your body to harmless levels. There are no known medications or supplements that can completely eradicate these viruses, except in rare cases where your immune system recovers.” – Dr. Hanan Polansky
Gene-Eden-VIR is not a drug. It is not a cure. However, it is the first antiviral, natural, CMV remedy scientifically designed to boost the immune system and lower the numbers of the latent Cytomegalovirus in your body.
Those who are considering taking it may have questions about how much it costs, whether it is safe, and whether it is effective.
Gene-Eden-VIR is a safe CMV remedy. To date, in over three years of being on the market, no side effects have been reported by Gene-Eden’s users. Each capsule contains a patented formula of five all natural ingredients including selenium, camellia sinesis extract, quercetin, cinnamomum extract, and licorice extract. In addition, each bottle is GMP Certified.
(If a product is GMP Certified it means that the product is keeping good manufacturing practices as outlined by the Food and Drug Administration [FDA].)
Gene-Eden-VIR is highly efficient against the latent Cytomegalovirus; each ingredient was selected through a scientific approach. PolyDNA scientists scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals around the world in order to identify the safest, most effective natural ingredients that target the latent (chronic) Herpes Simplex family of viruses, which includes the Cytomegalovirus.
Scientific papers on the ingredients of Gene-Eden-VIR can be accessed on pubmed.gov.
Gene-Eden-VIR is sold exclusively online through the Gene-Eden website. This lowers operating costs and allows savings to be passed on to Gene-Eden’s users.
Each bottle of Gene-Eden-VIR (a one month’s supply) costs just $42.99.
To learn more about Gene-Eden-VIR, the only CMV remedy on the market today that helps the body maintain low concentrations of the latent Cytomegalovirus, that is scientifically backed by published material, please visit the Gene-Eden-VIR website.
Gene-Eden-VIR was developed without the use of animal test subjects.
